There was a time in 2005 when the internet seemed innocent and serious. When 4chan was unheard of, Youtube was a community and when ads that claimed their content was funny, actually was funny. That was in 2005.

That's also when I signed up to Newgrounds. I honestly cant remember how I found Newgrounds. I was probably looking for "funny flash movies" and stumbled upon it. That was probably well before 2005, but that's irrelevant and I'm going on a tangent. It was during lunch sometime 2005 that I signed up to Newgrounds when I found out I could earn points, just by voting. I also wanted to review good movies. Those were the days almost all movies seemed awesome.

I posted on the forums a few times too. Looking back on my old posts and reviews, they seem unbelievably stupid, and something that a 13 year old would write. I guess that makes sense, as I was 11 at the time. (omg i lied about my date of birth :O)

I left NG later in 2005, though it seems like I was there forever. I submitted audio every so often, but I didn't post or vote or anything. I can't remember why I left either, I guess I just got bored.

Well now I'm back. The only thing I've noticed is blam/protect points are a little easier to get than before, but apart from that, it's the same old trolls/spammers posting the same old stuff, both in the Portal and the BBS.

I'm going to refrain from posting on the BBS, if only for the fact I find the threads don't really interest me anymore. It's just spam/story/forumblog/stupid question/happy birthday/help me threads. I do participate in those help me threads if I can give genuine help, but chances are you wont see me there often.

I give reviews on exceptional cases now, instead of just posting shit, but any reviews I do post are awesome (In my opinion of course). To date, 5 of my reviews have been deleted, but it would be a lot better if I could delete my crap reviews and just keep the ones I worked hard on.

I have to admit, nowadays I do vote mostly 0 and 5 when blam/protecting. I vote 0 on flashes to stand more of a chance against the OMG PROTECT POINTS guys, and I vote 5 to protect against all the BLAM EVERYTHING >:( guys and to give them a fair chance in the portal, that's a new bad habit that I didn't have before, but I still do occasionally vote a 3 if I don't like it and others might, or a 2-4 on the same criteria, so I still do vote fairly.

That's about it. Some new Flashes I've found here have inspired me enough to try learning Flash again, but it's not going well :(. I'd still say I'm average, but there's no point in releasing something that's half assed. If you did read all this, I'll gladly review some of your Flashes/Audio to give you some criticism in exchange for your time. Hey, it's time for time, nothing to lose :)
